I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Marcia Mouron and I've lived in Birmingham, Alabama, most of my life. And that life, in which Maluhia Farm now plays a very important part, has gone from good to very good. Let me tell you how and why.
Over past several years, I have had the good fortune to come under the tutelage of Kathy Jones Williams, a life coach currently based in Hawaii. Over the course of Kathy’s many “teachings”—including Access Consciousness, inside-out thinking, yoga, chanting, cooking ,etc.—I eventually came to realize that I held within me a deep desire to become closer to nature, i.e., to align my own rhythms--physical, mental, emotional—with those of nature, and thereby acquire a lifestyle at once richer and simpler. To that end, I embarked on a search for some property and, within a year, I found a small farm…well, closer to the truth, this small farm found me… During the next year, a near total transformation of the house and land took place until it blossomed into the peaceful, magical spot—as attested by every visitor thus far!--that it is today. Along with this lovely transformation, I realized a whole other idea had been taking root in my mind and heart: How wonderful it would be, I thought, to offer others the opportunity to relax and grow in this nurturing atmosphere! What materialized are these days of Turning Inward at Maluhia Farm. Maluhia, incidentally, is the Hawaiian term for shelter and tranquility; nothing could be more fitting!
